A technologist who thinks like a business leader.
I help organizations turn emerging technology into practical business outcomes. Over the past twenty-plus years I have worked across software engineering, enterprise consulting, cloud architecture, product development, data platforms and engineering leadership.
Today my focus is helping companies move beyond AI experimentation and build the architecture, operating models and internal capabilities required to use AI effectively.
My work sits at the intersection of business strategy and technology execution: understanding the problem, designing the right system, aligning stakeholders, and helping teams deliver. I can discuss business priorities with leadership, architecture decisions with engineering teams, and delivery trade-offs with product owners — without losing sight of how the pieces connect.
The journey
Eight chapters, one throughline.
Hover a year — or use the arrow keys — to read the chapter. It moves on its own if you leave it alone.
I began my career in software engineering before moving into consulting, where I spent roughly fifteen years progressing through technical, client-facing and leadership roles — from consultant to manager and eventually director.
That period built my commercial instinct. I learned how technology work is sold, scoped, negotiated, delivered and measured against business expectations.
It also taught me that good architecture is not only technically sound. It must be understandable, fundable, and aligned with the organization's priorities.
Background
The best technology is not necessarily the most sophisticated. It is the technology that people understand, organizations can support and customers genuinely need.
I began my career as a software engineer and spent the following two decades working across consulting, architecture, engineering leadership, cloud, data and product development.
The emergence of generative AI brought these different parts of my career together — an opportunity to combine strategic thinking, technical architecture, product building and education in one field. Today, I advise organizations, build AI-native products and help professionals develop practical AI capability.
This is not work I approach from the sidelines. I build, test, teach and learn continuously.
